Land around the homestead began to disappear three years ago. There was just enough room to squeeze in an apartment complex next to the interstate. The chainsaws and chippers came in and reduced the land to mulch. The builders came in next. The slope of the land didn't matter. They just flattened it. Winter in and Around the Woods
A dip into the LightRoom catalog found some favorite photos from winters past. These are among my early photos with a Nikon D70s. The CCD sensor in the D70s has a unique look. The colors are not like those from the modern CMOS sensors in Nikon bodies. The sensor in the D70s makes the camera relevant even today.
