Spring has turned to summer and the gardens at the local park have turned green and begun to flower. There is produce on the vine. The corn is standing high, and the tomatoes are climbing their stakes. Some new fencing has gone up. The gardeners are out more frequently. Admirers walk the paths in the afternoon.
